Join us at our premier fundraiser of the year, Copper River Nouveau. It’s a celebration of regional resilience, science, education, community, and wild salmon. We honor the effort it takes from the Science Center and our partners near and far to maintain community resilience among healthy ecosystems.
Our guest chef this year is Shana Whitlock of Anchorage's Chicken Shack. This will be her second time preparing our gourmet dinner, featuring wild Copper River salmon.
During an afternoon reception before the dinner, we will announce the winner of the Fisheries Achievement Award. This is an individual or group who has made a significant contribution toward the sustainability of fisheries resources in Prince William Sound and the Copper River watershed. We honor individuals for their innovation, perseverance, dedication, and hard work on behalf of the industry and ecosystems in our region. The awardee is a guest of honor at the Copper River Nouveau gala.
